Our office has been home to these habitable benches for the summer. They’re full scale study mockups of four possible bench sections of a 108 meter long boomerang-shaped bench being designed for Lansdowne Park.

The design in still a work in progress, but the final product will be made of certified hardwood bench top assemblies over concrete bases. The finished benches are scheduled to make their debut in Ottawa next fall.
